It will be better and so much easier if you have a paste of tom yum. I hope you could find it near your groceries store..
Tom yum soup is a sour soup with varieties of seafood or chicken. The add on vegetables make it as full meal.
Ingredients :
Ingredients A :
Half of onion
3 garlic ( can chop but
1 lemongrass ( knock it with something so the smell spread )
Ingredient B
Chicken / seafood usually people use prawn or squid
Ingredient C:
Tom yum paste
Chili (if u want )
Lime ( if u want more sour)
Vegetables ( you can choose but mostly at my place i put such as carrot, cauliflower, babycorn)
Enoki mushroom ( this one i will add if i do not want eat vegetable)
chilies ( optional too)
1. First the chicken needed to be cut into a small potion.
2. Clean the chicken properly
3. Put chicken into the water and half boiled it.
4. Put the ingredients A into the water that contained the chicken.
5. Make sure that the fire you use is slower so that the meat cook properly.
6. Insert the tom yum paste into the water. This thing use your taste bud. Like for me i love the thicker soup so i put more paste. You can add some salts for more taste.
7.Inserts the lime or chilies for more variety if taste.
8. Add on vegetables or enoki mushroom.
9. Slow down your fire and make sure your chicken properly cook.
10. Plus! If you love the soup to smell something strong you can add on kaffir lime leaves (chopped) or coriander ( chopped)
